Tips for Traveling with a cantankerous man

I see Mr. Hut is seeking advice and trust me, he needs alot of it. However, two can play at that game so if my trailer sisters wouldn't mind sharing how they cope with their man when cooped up in a trailer or car for days I'd appreciate it.

Hard to make generalizations, since there are so many varieties of cantankerosity. . .

Try putting one of those dancing hula girl bobbers on the dash - he'll stare for hours.

Stop trying to change him and let him be. He has so much to worry about these days, with publishing dead lines and such. By the way currently reading your book and I have trouble finishing a page laughing so hard.

Maybe you just need to adjust that thong you still wear.

I Pod with ear buds, or ear plugs. What you don't hear doesn't bother you.

I laughed at his thread and laughed even harder at yours! My husband is a dream to travel with. Now, a few of our seven kids an get a little high-maintenance on the road. You can do what works for us with them: video games in the car. And a snack.

Seems like mostly men are responding.

Mr. Hut is not cantankerous, he is a man of ideas unappreciated by those without his broad vision and creativity. Be patient because he may yet discover the unified field theory or one of his inventions may make you billionaires.

You could get all the back copies that are available of Airstream Life—the book is a reprint of the letters from there.

Buy the Kindle. I'm not a gadget person, but it takes about 5 minutes to forget it isn't a paperback. Carrying 3000 books in your purse or pocket - and having that weigh less than a pound can be really good too. Heck your worn out axles could get a year reprieve!
