This rally has been awesome! We arrived Friday and are staying until tomorrow (Monday). A few folks pulled out today (Sunday). The wheel formation of parking was a great idea. Wonderful classes and good to see everyone again!

I ran that hospital there back in the early 70s. Hear from one of my friends that they have a new one now. Hope to stop there on my way south this year. Sold the last bit of land we had there in 94.

Thanks for the pics, Richard, especially that aerial shot...did you climb a tall flagpole to get that? Looks like a good time!

...just dropping by
Thanks to the RMVAC !
Just happened to be VW camping in the area and stumbled onto the rally. Obviously a very welcoming group and this morning was no exception. Everyone was happy to let my family (4 kids) and I see inside their trailers and attend the polishing instruction.
Nice to meet folks whom I've also only "known" thru the forum. I didn't find a thread for this rally, so thought I'd put my post here.
Hopefully by next year I'll have my trailer done so I could participate, rather than spectate.

How was the weather for you guys? I was camping north of Kremmling and it rained off and on all weekend, mostly on.

Richard just called me from the road. He's at the AZ / NM border so yes, you beat him home since he said he'll probably overnight at Meteor Crater, he won't be home until tomorrow.

We made it home about two hours ago. It had been pouring here through the weekend, so it was good to be up in Salida! (Alas, my web clients were pretty active little critters while we were away, so now I'm buried up to my eyelids in website maintenance!)

It actually was quite nice...a few short showers to keep the dust down, but no problem ~ mostly at night with a few sprinkles during the day. Most enjoyed the cooler weather...no complaints!
I'll post some pics once I get them downloaded and I'm settled back in ~

The rally was so much fun! Thanks to everyone who worked so hard to make it possible!!!! Met lots of nice folks and had lots of laughs. The classes were great too and I learned a lot. The RMVAC is a great group of people!

We did 525 long miles yesterday and made it to Meteor Crater RV park. We are about 3 hours from the house. We did make this stop yesterday.

It is 62 degrees at the park this morning, the sun is coming up and the girls are in the pet area.

Early this morning before the sun came up, we were treated to a nice meteor shower. None as big as the one that landed down the road from here. We saw about 3 per minute and were very long in duration.

It was great! Light rains off and on, mostly off. Not enough to slow down the rally.

I am looking for a picture of my wife towing the Trade Wind out of the rally. She did great, but I never got a picture of it. She was a graduate of the Patti school of towing at the rally. If you have a picture, please post it, or contact me. Thanks!

Boy, I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm having post-rally motivational problems at work this morning.
I think I need another rally.
By the way, what became of the pics from the camera that went up in the balloon?
