CA and OR Coast
we enjoyed our voyage down the coast earlier this year so much we intend to head back that way and spend January and Feburary traversing the northern California and Southern Oregon coast and turn every rock and look in every cranny and experience all the diverse weather on the Pacific coast that we can

Stop at Honey Bear RV park near Gold Beach. A great place for an overnight.
Fort Stevens, at the mouth of the Columbia was one of our favorites.
The Rogue Brewing company at Newport, OR also. There is a state park along the south jetty.
Have a great trip.
PS. We had an overnight at Orrich (sp) Northern California. A national park with only picnic tables directly fronting the Pacific Ocean. Get there early and line up with your door facing the beach. (If they still are permitting camping there.)

Orick is no longer one of the coolest dry camps on the coast, day use only.
Oregon State parks are great. Plan on rain. Northern Calif. where 101 gains elevation in the redwoods can see some snow. It is a beautiful area to spend time in.
