The Greatest American Road Trip or 59 in 52 get your books now.
Many of you have been following the The Greatest American Road Trip of the National Parks in an Airstream
The book is now available for preorder at a reduced rate. Can't wait to see how they formatted it and which pictures were chosen.
In case you are not familiar with it. The trip was a commemeration of the National Parks Centennial Celebration. Jonathan and Stephanie have traveled to the nation's National Parks, yes all 59 of them in 52 weeks in an Airstream. Lucky them but it was clearly hard work and they were certainly up to the job.
The next forward from them will be for the last park they visited, #59, on this journey. We followed along with their adventure by receiving the email updates and thoroughly enjoying each park. It was fun to see the parks we have already visited from their perspective. We hope to see many more and we could also see great images from the few parks we will likely never visit in person. We will miss getting their emails.
PS the trip has been over for some time now and they are off to new adventures already.
We love our National Parks and have enjoyed their centennial celebration.
No we're not affiliated or related in any way with any of the sponser's, just enthusiastic to share.
It was a beautiful photo journal of our countries treasures.

Thanks for the proper links guys.
It was a beautiful adventure to follow online and a nice tribute to the National Parks. I'm looking forward to the last Park and because we didn't keep track I'm not even sure which Park it it.
Enjoy

I have the good fortune to see a presentation by Jonathan a few months ago. His photography is outstanding. It's not the typical tourist shots rather he stirs our emotions. Impressive feat to do in such a narrow window of time at each park.

Thx Wells I too was very moved by their style of writing and photography choices.
Their last park update just dropped into our Email and it was Pinnacles National Park which many of you speak of highly.
Funny thing we've not visited Pinnacles yet but have driven past it many times as family lives very close by. Soon hopefully and maybe at a rally time.

Just pre-ordered our copy, and will be waiting with held breath until it arrives, all the more as we will be camping at Pinnacles this Christmas.
