Yes it sucks they won't offer diesel in the states due to the strict pollution requirements here. But my Wrangler works well with the Sport due to its light weight. Plus I get to go offroading! Best of both worlds!

Very nice. Hey you got a bumper on your Sport! They left that off mine. That means you might be able to add the new bike rack. Lucky.

I had Sutton RV add the bumper and the rock guards up front. I didn't trust myself so I wanted extra protection!! Yes, I will definitely be bringing my bike along. Now if I could just figure out how to bring my 78 Honda 125XL! Now that would be fun to goof around on!

So how's the beach today? I'm at a rally for the Oregon A/S unit this week and it's been raining cats & dogs the whole time. It's all good though!! Any day in an Airstream is wonderful!

Oh I didn't realize they could be added.

The beach will prob have rain this weekend, but I don't go until Monday. Should be clearing up then.

So you stay elsewhere then hit the beach on the weekends? Cool! You mentioned you went to college around these parts. Whereabouts? I pretty much grew up in Oregon. I love it and look forward to seeing others parts of the USA too.

I was in Portland and Lake Oswego. Warner Pacific College and Lewis & Clark. A beautiful state.

Cool! I'm near Portland at a St Patricks Day Rally. I think we have about 31 Airstreams. I'll post a couple pictures, one is a shot taken from a remote hextocopter, with some sort of camera attached. Too cool!

Great shots Cari! Looks like fun. I am hitching up today. Right now the rain has stopped temporarily, but those clouds are ready to pour again any minute. It is soggy here too, but it should clear up by late Monday, early Tuesday. Fortunately my Stream still has no leaks.

We just bought a Sport 16' and are thinking about adding a bumper. If you are willing to share, I'd love to know how much it set you back. I got a price of $1500 from my RV dealer, which seems high.

Did they get the bumper from Airstream, or is it a different brand, or custom built?

Happy New Year everyone! Guess I have been lax in updating some of my "adventures". I have been to Newport Dunes and Palm Springs since my last posts and I return to PS tomorrow. Will post a few more pics when I return in a week.
Cari, I too am interested in your costs and efforts to install a bumper on your Sport. It would be nice to be able to mount a bike rack!
