Port Aransas. Nueces County has a campground just behind dunes very close to fishing pier. Best restroom/ shower facilities I've ever seen for the campers only

What is special about Padre Island camping is that you are right on the beach....free is just an added bonus.

We would have gladly paid, it was that special to us.

Mustang Island SP and Malaquite CP offer W/Enhookups, and are just about as close to the beach as on it.

Just moved out of Corpus Christi.

Rockport is much the nicest area.

Try Padre as well as Goose Island.

Plenty of cheap RV parks up and this stretch of coast.

Search on this topic. It has been covered well the past nine years.

It is the only county park in the Port Aransas area. It has great shower facilities. It has great docks. It's right on the water and you will be delighted you took our recommendation. This is redundant to the earlier post
