Texas Fall

IMHO, This is the best camping time of the year in the Hill Country. Crisp nights and warm days.

Took this shot last week at Inks Lake SP. I got in 3 days of kayaking and some hiking. I was lucky to get a site backed up to the lake by getting there fairly early on Friday. The park was probably 90% full Friday and Saturday nights including a big group of boy scouts.

You can see my new Aero-Flo vent covers in the photo.

Smile Nice Covers...Scout's Honor

Nice picture. I like your steps; mine are a bit old, rickety, and a little rusty...

Nice photo John.

Hope those wheels were well chocked ... how deep is that lake?

I've heard so many nice things about the Hill Country ... looking forward to being there some day soon.

All of the far wheel and half of the wheel in view were firmly against the concrete stop barrier. It sure wasn't going anywhere in that direction. I have two expanding chocks for instanceswhere there is no stop, but I didn't need them here.

You're correct, John. This is a great time of year for camping --- nice here in E Texas, too. But it is getting cooler and time to start packing up our bus for the annual trip to "The Tip of Texas" for the winter --- Airstream was just winterized after a great trip to Michigan. We were in all time zones again this year with the trailer -- continues to be a great unit behind the mightytruck.
