Yep, that's what we were told when we had a recall item done. The factory tour is neat and informative so if you can fit that in, go for it!

Gave the nice folks at Airstream a call this morning. They are fully booked up for a couple of months so little chance of getting work done unless it an emergency. They do have plenty of room at the Terraport, so no problem spending a night or two there at $10 a night if not getting work accomplished. I was told they currently have no extra propane cover tops in stock and would have to special order. No big deal as I have found several other retailers that do have them currently available.

Yep, this what I thought. Still going to try to make it. It is a beautiful area that I always enjoy visiting.

We've always had a several week wait for service, very busy place. Terraport is another story, we've never seen it more than half full. $10 fee always waived too. If you're travelling I 75 it is only a 10 minute drive to JC. If you go, don't hesitate to go to the little old pub located on the main drag just west of the factory entrance. May not be up to the standards of some who have posted in the past, but it has great bar food and cheap drafts, and within walking distance of the terraport

We just returned from Jackson Center. Camping is first come, first serve and the terraport is open 24 hours. We had warranty work done. Camping is free the day before service and the day after. Otherwise they charge $10, or so the sign says.
During the factory tour it was mentioned that anyone can camp there, even in an SOB.
Great people work there.

They also wave the $10 per night fee if you spend enough money in the store!! Those Airstream shirts and parts can add up!

Camping at the Terraport always costs at least $100 per day.

Wait. That's at the store.

Yeah, our free camping and free warranty work ended up costing close to $2500.

It is like the free comps at a casino. Amazing how they quickly end up costing $$$$$.
