Tennessee Cumberland Plateau Campground

Just a note to let everyone know what a lovely place this campground is. It is located in East Tennessee just South of Crossville. There are several visitor spots that rent for $20 a night with full hookups. Lots of friendly people, trails and a lake. There are 139 member campsites that are located in a hardwood forrest. It is the best kept secret in the East for Airstreamers except for courtesy parking. A lot of members spend the summer there. My wife and I just bought a lot there and are very pleased. Check out the web site.

Dan - We just looked it up and I was going to post this morning and see if anyone had been there. Glad to know you liked it.

How is the drive? We've never been around that area.

Thanks, Jill

Tennessee Cumberland Plateau Campground

Jill,
The drive to and around is lovely. Two lane state roads in great condition. No steel hills of sharp curves. It is always about 10 degrees cooler than here around Nashville. This time of year a lot of folks from Florida and some from Texas come and spend the summer there.
One of the nicest things about the campground is that it is owned by members and not some corporation way off in the distance.
Come visit,
Dan
P.S.
The visitor spots are only $10 not $20.

Two questions

1) Is WBCCI membership required?

2) Is there internet access?

WBCCI membership is not required. Only that you have an Airstream trailer or motorhome. Wi-Fi has just been installed in the clubhouse for use in the campground. Phone hookup for the internet has been available for quite a while.
