Thumbs up Temporarily Airstream-less

Well, we sold our 2003 22' International and delivered it to the nice folks down in Augusta GA on the 28th. We stayed down in the Augusta/Myrtle Beach area until yesterday and saw more Airstreams in 3 days down there than in several years up here . They're everywhere. Even saw a Squarestream for sale.

We pickup the 2008 Safari 27 FB SE on Jan 12. Cant wait.

Hang in there, only eleven days. You're gonna love the FB.

Yeah! but did you see the 30 FB?

You will really love that 27 FB. I think it's the perfect Airstream. What upholstery? Safari, SE, CCD or Classic? I've got the 25 and it's great but I've been sorely tempted by the fore and aft queen and the bigger closets and pantry in the 27.

Yesterday I saw a post by Mr. Botticelli - Colonial Airstream - that they just came out with a 30 FB, in the classic only, apparently.

Isn't it amazing how the minute you order anything new, another model is announced? I've got the truck to pull anything, so I'll hold out a while longer with my 25. ENJOY your new toy! They ARE selling a lot more - my home campground used to have only 3 members with Airstreams, now there are 8 or 9.

Happy Trails, Paula Ford

We did the same thing this past year - we were "stream-less" for several months. There is no good solution. But you will love your new FB, I am sure!

Harley Riding While Traveling

Do you take your Harley with you when you travel? If so, how?
Thanks, HarleyRider.

I've gone the other way...I have two and only need one.
There's a local guy who is interested in mine, if that doesn't work out I'll be posting a real clean '72 21' Globetrotter. Stay tuned.

Congrats on the new AS. We have our 23' Safari posted in the classified's for sale. We want to move up to a 27 or 28 footer for long term travel. We need the space to spread out. Again, congrats.

To answer the questions:

We're getting the Midnight Sun interior. Only going for a few Options: 2nd Fantastic Fan, Microwave & the Audio/Video upgrade with the 23' LCD TV.

As to the Harley question:
We either take the AS or the Harley but can't do both at the same time. TV has a 6.5' bed and the Dresser requires alot more than that.

For Tsunami: I preferred the Safari 28W interior design and wife liked the 27FB better. You can see who got their way !!!

It's great to have another AS in the area there's not that many around the Augusta Area. We vacation in Myrtle Beach every year and only see a few. Where did you see all the streams?

They were all behind TV's going down the road. The only one we saw "static" was the Squarestream with the for sale sign.

The new owners of the 22' are actually in Lincolnton. Don't know much about Georgia geography so you'll probably know better than me how close that is to you.
