Television sound is terrible

I have the standard flat screen in the living area, and the impossible to use Clarion radio. Is there a way to route the tv sound through the stereo speakers. Or should I go with a sound bar on the television. I must admit the Clarion manual is Greek to me. Thanks for your help !

Check out the Yamaha YAS-106 sound bar. Great sound, vs the TV speakers, compact size and bluetooth to play music from your iPhone/Android or other BT device.

Funny as this week past we were watching TV at the campground and I started looking for audio options using the Clarion speakers.

I won a Bose mini Bluetooth speaker last year at a rally. Great sound. Can use it with the tv, ipad and iPhone.

Turn on your stereo, change the setting to aux and then turn up the volume (again on the stereo) and you should have nice surround sound.

Alive tried setting the Clarion unit to Aux, then turning up the volume. Nothing ! Wonder if mine is wired incorrectly ?
