We are looking for a place to spend a week at the end of June in Northern New Mexico, or Southern Colorado. Taos, Angel Fire, Tres Piedras, Sangre De Christo...
We'd like something with some trees and not super crowded. Need electricity at a minimum, full hookup preferred, of course.
If you're not looking for fancy try the Mora Inn and RV Park. We stayed there a couple years ago and it was very peaceful, yet central to everything you mentioned. I see it has gone up to $40/night.(we paid $20 but I think rates fluctuate) You get water/sewer/electric and the wifi worked good if you go sit by the office. Nothing fancy and you may get a horse or two dropping by.
A little further to the South but not too far is Storrie Lake State Park. Haven't stayed there but we took a look at it. It will be a bit warmer than Mora as you drop a good bit in elevation.
Riana CoE campground at Abiquiu Lake northwest of Taos. Easy day trips to Tas, Santa Fe, Los Alamos. Reservations essential. There are limited sites with electric and water hookups. Dump station on site. Another option is in Santa Fe @ Trailer Ranch RV Resort on the bus line in heart of Santa Fe.
