Takeaway from Groundhog Day?
Howdy ya'll - still 'kicking, just not 'streaming. Looked over all the Groundhog Day prognostications, but these were inconclusive, so I went and had a look at the AS myself. Looks like more than 6 weeks of winter left out here, but at least she's not leaking. I'll go back to lurking for now, hope to post something interesting come Spring.

Yep, large rodents notwithstanding, the calendar still says it's winter.
Hang in there gang, spring is just 'round the corner.
Nice pic of the 'Stream. Only about a trace of show this year at our house. But still winter here too.

Head far enough south where winter doesn't matter!

Glad she's not leaking.
I'm not leaking either.

Thanks for the comments, folks... glad to hear no one is leaking, that's good. 👍👍
I'll try heading further south today, but will only make it as far as Bryce Canyon. Forecast low of minus three, perfect for snowshoeing and winter photography, but I'm leaving the AS home this trip in favor of the Best Western.
Regards - Ron

Groundhogs don't know crap. Never have. Humans in need of some kind of entertainment during long winters just make up holidays.

It's only an official holiday in Pennsylvania and remote parts of Wisconsin.
Everyone else it's a work day.

Yep, not sure what to think about the groundhog thing. I'll have to look that up to see how the tradition started.
Regarding leaks... it's the leaks you don't see that cause the most damage.

I am concerned about leaks over time, hence plans to get an RV garage built this year (if there's anything left over after tax season.)

Oh, and by the way... Bryce Canyon is beautiful in the winter. Here's a quick photo in case you haven't been here in winter (featuring my better half.)
