One of my big fears with the Airstream (in addition to hail) is getting rear-ended... People can be such idiots behind the wheel sometimes. And they give you no leeway when you're pulling around all that trailer!

If you brake, they know you did it on purpose and usually get upset with you. When I am not towing, I wash my windows. The over spray make them wash theirs. If they don't back off the first time, they usually do the second time. Now as often as this happens to me I should buy stock in washer fluid.

I always wanted to make something (mounted in the tire well) that gave off a sound like tires squaling (as if you'd slammed on the brakes) and emitting smoke like the tires are smoking..... just to scare the poop out of tailgaiters. I'm sure it would be against the law, but would be funny.....
