SXSW camping

Any of our Austin area AS friends have any ideas on campgrounds during SXSW?

Have learned that the singer-songwriter in our family will be playing at a showcase in March, so we will probably need a couple of nights, March 13 and 14.

Any ideas or is everything for miles around going to be totally booked?

SXSW Cammping

I'd think anything worth having has been reserved for years ahead, that's how big SXSW has become. I don't know if I'll be here or not, that doesn't really matter much, but I do have Courtesy Parking for one trailer, 30 amp & water only, no dump facility. You're welcome to it. I'm midway between Wimberley & Blanco just off Hwy 2325, maybe 45 minutes (depending on traffic of course) south west of Austin. Let me know if you want it & we can work out the details.

The following RV Parks are on the east side of Austin with easy access on the 130 Toll Road and easy access to downtown via the 130 Toll Road:

1. Near the intersection of Hwy. 71 and Hwy. 183 and and about 15 min. east of downtown is McKinney Falls State Park:

2. Not far from the 130 Toll Road and not far from Hwy. 183 and gets nice reviews and about 15 min. east of downtown
