Great site! Thanks for the photos and info on Sugarloaf. We just spent a few days west and the wild flowers were beautiful. You've done a great job capturing them with the spectacular surroundings. Great photo of Daisy! Thanks

Thanks for another wonderful post.

I notice you use a float tube to fish from and you pack it in to these remote lakes. Do you have to add waders? How much does all this weigh? What brand do you have. Do you also wear a flotation device?

Thanks, everyone. This was really a great trip.
@KJRitchie (Kelvin), The tube boat only ways a few pounds, and has backpacking straps to make carrying easier. I only have to walk 1/8-1/4 mile most of the time. Also, I am usually not alone, so a friend will help with the flippers or fly rod. You can do it solo, in one trip if needed. I'm fully geared up-- waders and boots. I do not where a floatation device. I seldom float far from shore, and if one tube goes there is always a second to get me back to safety.

The tube boat that I have is Trout Unlimited. I don't think they make it any longer. I'm eyeing one that Costco carries. It has everything I need, and a better bottom incase I snag a sharp rock or stick.

Love what you're doing and thanks for sharing! We're camping in the northeast right now, headed up to the Fingerlakes in NY, so love getting excited about future adventures through postings like yours.
