Streaming' at Glamis....

Has anyone taken their stream to the dunes at Glamis or anyother dune like location. I'm thinking about making a trip with some friends but one of them brought up the point that the blowing sand might destroy the finish on my baby. Anyone have any experience or thought on this, could use the forums help thanks.

I had my Airstream at Pismo Dunes a few times, with blowing sand everywhere. I also frequent San Felipe's beaches, parked right in the sand.
I found out that most of the sand stays close to the ground, I found little piles around the tires every now and then, but no damage whatsoever on the body or glass. I don't know about the conditions at Glamis, but you could always move away from the dunes a bit if the wind picks up and you get concerned.

Thanks UWE, that puts me alittle more at easy. I didn't think it would be a problem but those are always the things that sink you the deepest.
