Additionally, they use Airstreams corporate trademark images....
You're right, very deceptive!

Look how far back the axle sets are, not AS products!

Just like used car dealers, you don't need to be connected with the factory in any way to say "I sell used Chevy's". As long as it is true that they sell a used AS from time to time, I doubt there is much JC can do about it.
Are they bum's? Sure they are. Is a lawyer the next step? Maybe it is.

PM me for the details of the Tucson shop that did the repeirs. Rip off alert!
The invoice does not reflect the parts associated with the job.
Much still left to be completed
Leaks water, nothing sealed!
Poor overall business ethic.
Hate to see anyone else get hosed by this shop!

Were your friends able to recoup some of their losses from that shop? Was Airstream of any help here?
Thanks,

I'd have to cry.....my wife would be one step away from lunacy if that happened to us......and then it would be on.
Very disappointing.

Yep, their credit card company did an amazing job in recovering a lot of the money that they paid out for the original repair.. after several more months in another shop the repairs are now completed! I'm happy to report Victor and Linda are on the road as of last week. Their first stop was Pigeon Forge. We are planning to meet up with them and roam together until balloon fiesta in October. It's been quite a ride!

From 9/17/18 to current. Wow what a mess almost nine months of head aches and no travel. I would be fit to be tied.
I’m glad that this is behind them and only wish we could all get a few minutes behind closed doors with the morons who stole it.

I will bet that they have a very good trailer lock on the trailer now.
As for repair shops. I have had a not so good experience with that one. Will never use them again.

After the fact research shows their work is horrible, and a number om PMs reflect the same!
In the end Karma wins.
All is good now.

After spending a couple of weeks with Victor and Linda at the balloon fiesta, we learned that the prosecutor has made an arrest in this case, apparently the wife went to visit some family, and someone turned her into the police and was arrested. The prosecutor has turned this case over to the grand jury and the wheels of Justice are now turning. Not sure if the husband involved has been arrested yet as they didn't mention that but at least there was an arrest and this case has gone to court. It's unlikely the thieves have any tangible assets to recover, but at least one arrest has been made in the hopes that someone will go to jail.

Any news on how the wheels of justice are turning?
Thanks,

Not sure if you are still monitoring this, but have the wheels of justice turned any further, now about a year later?
Thanks,
