Stella's southwest excursion

A successful breaking-in of the DH in his first week-plus trip with the Airstream. He says he slept really well, so I am hopeful that he will grow to love Stella as much as I do. It's getting late, and I posted all of the details I could remember, along with pictures, to my blog. Sorry to make folks click again, but I'm too tired to post it all again.

The highlights: train to the Grand Canyon, private BLM boondocking, hours of talking over a campfire, a new TV. We didn't make it quite as far as I'd hoped, and came home a couple days earlier than planned, but it was still the longest trip I've gotten DH to take.

Quite the adventure! Thanks for all of the help I've gotten from everyone!

Glad you have "wet your feet" so to speak. I hope this is the first of many great adventures you have in the AS. Happy trails (or roads)
