put your vinyl stick-on map display that celebrates the states where you've traveled? I gave one to DH for Christmas, but it's still in a drawer and we haven't decided how or where to display it. While these maps seem sort of a silly thing, I kind of like them at the same time-an unspoken symbol of so many great trips, and I'll bet, a great conversation starter in the campgrounds. When we were traveling with the SOB, I planned to put it on the door side outside, but I sure don't want to do that to our AS! (It's funny how I think differently about the AS than the SOB!) I just saw on an AS photo that the map was put on the back window (above bed). I like that; it would look neat when going down the road, and not be bothersome with a view in most cases. What are different displays that some of you are doing?

Funny that you're asking about this as we have had six month long conversation about where to place our map.
I just bought mine at Camping World this week. As soon as I re-skin the door in aluminum it's going on the inside of the door. That way we can display it while camping with the main door latched open and the screen door closed...and it will still be partially visible from inside the MH through the screen when going down the road but toned down a bit.
I think someone else from the forum already did this and it gave us the idea.
Maybe a little on the tacky side but I like these kinds of things and what fun for our children to mark the states we've visited.
Our map is sitting on the workbench in the basement, waiting for the AS to finally arrive here in KY. I fly out to Cheyene WY on June 3 to resume the journey. I'm thinking of painting a mushroom cloud over WY to show where the engine blew.

These state stickers are available in a rainbow of colors. Maybe you could find a black one for Wyoming?
Have a safe continuation of your trip.

I was told by a couple of Air Streamers that tradition is you should post stickers only if you have stayed overnight in that state. I like the idea, however being a senior citizen, a new streamer and a working stiff, I might assume room tempature before filling the map if I follow tradition. Sure would like to know what you guys do?
