State Bridge to Kremmling road quality

Has anyone been on this strech of road this year?? Basically 131 to State Bridge and follow the river, I think its state road 1. Is any of the road paved after the strech on 131?? Pulling a 28' AS w S/O. I usually take I-70 to 9 to 40, but if this road isn't too rough, it would save about 45-50 miles. Would be around 7/20 going from Snowmass to Grand Lake. Thanks. Terry

This road is not paved. You will only be able to drive about 25mph, and is probably dusty. My suggestion is to use the I70 to CO 9 to CO 40.

You may save miles but I think it could be slower.

I have used this road several times towing a 25 foot Airstream. It is paved in parts but there is some gravel. O.k. to travel if you have mudflaps or other gravel guards.
