Just quick update.
I arrived in Hood River Sat. afternoon, 8/10. After unpacking the van, I re-packed it and was off to Eugene on Sunday to prepare for my first installation on Monday.
I was at AM Solar's door bright and shiny at 9:00 AM to get the components for the installation. 14 hours later, #1 was history and I was back at AM Solar to get a truck load of gear for the next 4 installations. It has been virtually non stop since then!
I am headed to #3 on a 27FB in a few minutes with new AGM batteries, inverter and a starter 200 watt expandable system with full function battery monitor (integrated into the solar controller).
It will be a busy time here in the NW, as demand for RV solar is very strong. Not much time for R & R, as I have 9 more confirmed installations (most on Airstreams
) on the schedule between now and Oct. 15 when I head back to FL for the winter (my Snowbird clients get very testy if I'm not available!
Looks like the Balloon Fiesta is history this year, as the work load here is just too demanding to leave on my original date of Sept. 30.
Stay tuned for some install shots as time allows.
