St Charles Va. / Cherrystone Rv Resort

Has anyone stayed at Cherrystone Resort in St. Charles Virginia ?
Any section or sites better than others?
Any area to avoid?
Just two of us, retired, we like a bit of privacy.
Any words of advice.........

Cherrystone is a huge resort. We were there in 2008 and again in 2009, and I think both times were during holiday weekends. The place was packed, full of kids on bikes (all well behaved) so if you want quiet don't go on a holiday weekend. There aren't that many campgrounds on the lower Eastern Shore so it is probably pretty busy most summer weekends . The park is nice and close to the water but I don't remember the particular area we were in.

I prefer Kiptopeke State Park just south of Cape Charles. Concrete ships used for the old ferry landing breakwater.
