St. Augustine / Daytona

Hi!

I'm trying to find a nice full-service campground (electric, water, sewer, cable and wireless if possible) on or near the beach in the St. Augustine or Daytona area.

I've seen people talking about Bryn Mawr and Ocean Grove, as well as the Encore resort.

What are your favourites?

Has anyone been to North Beach Camp Resort?

We've got 2 little boys, under the age of 7, so would like/need more activities for the week than a state park can offer...

Any thoughts/suggestions are greatly appreciated!

I've stayed twice at Bryn Mawr but it's been about 5 or 6 years since I have been there. At the time they had a neat covered double level deck next to my site. Go up the steps and there was a picnic table with room to put up your chairs and look out over the ocean. They had a nice pool on the days when you got tired of the salt water.

One thing I remembered was when I got home, my SOB has a white coating of salt on it.

We will be staying at Anastasia State Park in April, but have no prior experience. We have friends that live near Jacksonville, and if I remember correctly I seem to remember they had recommended North Beach Campground.

Just made a reservation at North Beach Campground. Looks nice from online, and the person I spoke with on the phone seemed like quite the character.
