If not, he can get a cutoff wheel and a grinder, and use that. The only problem with that is he would need electricity, if he doesn't have a generator with him.

Good point, too! He could probably find a gas station or other place with electricity he could use.
Thank you!

If he hasn't already passed it, "The Next Exit" says there's a Lowe's and Wal-mart Supercenter at exit 50 outside of St. Joseph.

I just talked with him again, and he says he thinks he will try to drive on in with it. He has gone 120 miles so far with no issues from it, and is hoping that will be the case all the way. I will keep you updated as I hear from him.
Thank you all again for your quick responses and willingness to help!

PS, great to have Steve home.

Less than 75 dollars for a cheap sawzall--and a pack of blades. Good tool to own.

We've got every suggestion here but dental floss. So... [get real Bob -- there's at least 10% of the world's problems that flossing doesn't help]
Inquiring minds want to know. I've dialed up the super-moderator keyhole satellite and it looks like his... er... tongue appurtenance hasn't lost any length.
Good goin' so far Steve. Hope you survive so we get the real story.

Okay,
I just got in, and had to park in front of the house since we have a steeper than normal grade on our drive. I want to thank everyone who posted or contributed to this thread. Susan and I were in contact until my phone died several hours ago. The ONLY time I ever hit pavement was once I exited the interstate to travel the 3.4 miles to my home. I hit the pavement 4 times in that stretch. First on the agenda is a new coupler and new hitch jack. The current coupler is 1 7/8 and pretty scary. I guess I will use the 2 5/16 coupler instead of the 2" I planned. The 4 Pin only supplied running lights, and I was glad to have something rather than nothing.
Brad...I picked this up in Council Bluffs...DOH!
Again...thanks to all of you (Other than Vaughn who used the opportunity to hijack and point out something that didn't pertain to the thread). Just kidding V-Man, we love you too
Steve

Glad you made it home without too much difficulty although I'll bet it was nerve wracking. Now, tell us what you were pulling. We're all dying here.

Besides...it can't be THAT special, they just started to sell them again this year.

I can hear the singing although it sounds like sad moaning.
