we were in UP Michigan. only 60% coverage there.
we used a pin hole camera made from an old pizza box.

the views was very clear and we could see the image change while we were driving . that is the passenger could see!

I just got a text from a fellow,,A$ . They left Carbondale at 4:00 and their projected ETA to West Chicago is 2:30 am. They are sitting in traffic, not accident. One person said they will not get to Milwaukee till about,,4:00 am.

Got about 70% in the high desert. Had cloud cover, of all things, but it cleared in time. Used a pinhole camera to safely get a picture with my phone. Click image for larger version

We drove down from Dayton, OH to Central City, KY to watch from within the path of totality. Turns out the "pinholes" for the guide strings in the overhead windows on our FC25 made a nice array of projectors with the floor as the screen!Click image for larger version

Ha! Wow. I always wonder why everyone has gotta congregate in the exact same spot.... Over here in the southeast portion of Shawnee NF the eclipse was 100% full, lasted for over 2 minutes and there was no traffic to speak of! Still a lotta folks but no major crowds or anything. That's also why I arrived on Wed and waited to leave. I did lose data on my phone for about 2 hours after the eclipse, though.

Gosh was it worth it, though. It was really something.

I put my camera on a tripod and set a timer so I could enjoy the eclipse without fussin with technology and this was the pic I got. I will certainly not forget this magical place.

TravlinMan - that's one of the best environmental shots of the eclipse I've seen. Just beautiful! Joe
