Smiles

There was a report this morning on the Movie "Charley and the Chocolate Factory" this morning and the actors commented that when they told folks who they were the people smiled.

When we started traveling with Glimmer, people stopped to talk with us and smiled a lot. We don't deserve any credit, we just wrote a check and went traveling. WB, the factory and all the folks who have been traveling in silver trailers over the years certainly do deserve a thank you and a lot of credit for those smiles.

We smile a lot too. And Glimmer is a lot less fattening than chocolate. Pat

I've had people circle the block and come back to ask questions about our AS. I guess iconic is a good word to describe them. Most are surprised to hear they are still being made.

When I had my AS about 99 percent of the people smiled. The other were sob owners who just sneered. Now I have an Avion and all I get are puzzled looks.

I mentioned to the XYL that people would be looking over our AS - she thought I was nuts until we stopped at the enroute on Hwy 401 going towards Toronto. We both made a dash into the building (washrooms) and when we came out there were several people taking photos of our AS & TV.
