Side trip to Eagle Alaska

Took the Taylor Hwy to Eagle and back today, about 4 hrs each way. It is a long trip but the views are spectacular. Based on input from an earlier post, I left the trailer in Chicken and very glad I did. The road itself is ok, but there are many stretches where the road is essentially one lane. Saw several truck campers and only one trailer. All in all a good trip.

A great little piece of Alaska few ever see. Great community, too. Now you can truthfully say you've been "to the end of the road!"
