Shooting Star Drive-In

I recently heard about this soon to open Airstream Park in Escalante, UT. It looks like it is going to be a great place to visit...

It sure sounds nice. Wish it had been there several years ago when we were at Bryce Canyon.

I keep on looking at the website and see that they appear to rent out existing Airstreams onsite, but do they also just rent sites for folks to come in with Airstreams? Or did I just overlook it?

I wrote the guy a message. Maybe I can engage him a bit on the site -- and maybe even convince him to give discounts like ours? We'll see ...

From the "Services" page, it looks like they will have 18 "Airstream Only" sites - 9 w/full hook-ups..

Oh, good! Now if the guy responds, maybe I can "hint-hint" him into giving discounts!

My guess is with the amenities promised and a relatively short season, it's going to be expensive. I'm always concerned when it's called a "resort". Actually two seasons—spring and fall because summer is hot!
