Shipping off to Boston

Like the Dropkick Murphys, we will be shipping off to Boston this summer for a little vacation. Aside from the cape and southern NH, are there any campgrounds in eastern MA - say inside 495 roughly?

well..."inside 495" is a pretty broad area. there are lots.

The one billed as "closest to Boston" is Normandy Farms. Very nice...very spendy, but people seem to like it.

My family and I love the Cape Ann area - Gloucester-Rockport. There's a very nice campground in Gloucester.

Much nicer than THE Cape!
