Shenandoah NP

We are thinking about visiting Shenandoah NP in early June camping at Big Meadows. Any suggestions as to the best loop or even individual site for a Flying Cloud 28?

No electric or water at Big Meadows - so if you want to use your generator, you are restricted to certain loops. Likewise, if you have sufficient battery capacity and don't want to listen to others' generators, then choose a non-genny loop.

Favorite gen-allowed site is Y-2; favorite non-genny site is P42.

Have a great time. We consider Shenandoah to be our "home" park.

Looking at the reservation website, there doesn't seem to be a "p" or a "y" loop. If I put the n the sites you mentioned, it says there are no matching sites. I guess I'm misunderstanding.

The map I reached for is probably several years old. Sorry. I will check the site and see if there are new numbers.

Genny OK - E173; Non-genny - B120.

May or may not be available - I took a quick look and there are dates available. But you really can't go wrong unless you get a site that is too short. They will have a cow if even half of one wheel is off the paved surface.
