Last night I pulled into Maxandgeorgia in Columbia, MO late. I slept for aout 9 hours and Georgia cooked me a nice breakfast and I had to hit the trail. I stopped by Max's office to pick up the faxed copy of the final version of the contract on my house. I now have a contract on a house!

I pulled into JC about 45 minutes ago. I spent 9 hours on the road today and I am pretty much back on schedule except my trailer was supposed to be geting minor maintanence not a major repair.
I still owe a huge thanks to many people for getting me back on the road.

Was he going against traffic? Was he trying to exit the Interstate to turn around?
We were both going the same direction on I-70. He was trying to get from my left to the shoulder on the right.
My insurance company called today to continue the process. They are right now making noises of going after the police department insurance for the repair.

I am at JC and the prelim extimate is 23500 with the 10% discount.

Holy Moley! $23, 500.00 On the bright side, that is a very good thing for Airstream. You're such a giver.

Anybody in the terraport with you?

Michelle, Just catching up with this thread. I am glad to know you are in JC and getting the proper people to look at the damage. You have to have nerves of steel to go through what you have been through. My best to you.

We enjoyed meeting and spending some time with Michelle. Seeing the damage on her AS and realizing it was still traveling down the road was impressive! AND, we met the roadster girl Sarah! Now, that's some sweet kitty...brand new to our place, she would get out of the truck or trailer, visit around, take care of whatever kitty business she had, and stick close to "home." If any of our cats and dogs had been in such a situation, they'd have shot out of the truck, scattered in seventeen different directions at once, and not come home til Sunday! This is quite an Airstream pair We hope to see you on the road, Michelle...maybe at Topsail in January. ~G

best of luck..was this a result of a high speed chase?
maybe we will see it on t.v.? oh, probably not since
the cop might be the bad guy...not good p.r. for them!

in any case hope all goes well-and that you can work this out.

hope all is well with you and kitty and that the crunch can be fixed.

maybe now would be a good time to follow your advice...
