Seven Springs Penn.

I will be purchasing my first airstream (2005 Safari) and will do short trips in it prior to my first long road trip, which will be to Seven Springs from Austin TX. Does anyone have a campground/rv place to suggest staying in Seven Spring. I will be there close to 2 weeks, friends of mine will be racing in the national masters road race this July. Thanks for your time.

Try Mountain Pines RV Resort

They used to allow some RV's overnight in parking lot, but no longer.. Try Mountain Pines RV Resort, which is just south of Entrance Road to Seven Springs Resort of Hwy 711. It is very large RV resort, but has most amenities. There may be a few others in "Laurel Mountains" area of PA, as that area is very popular in summer and winter..

>> Learned to ski at Seven Springs in 1960 when it was a little less developed... One small wooden lodge, and 3 chairlifts and a pair of rope tows... Family friend helped start it using guts of Model A as lift power, transmission and wheels for pulleys in 1939...
