Those have been there for a number of years now. Are you in the area,Bob? We live about 4 miles west of Seaside, but we are currently out in Lucy and won't be back until after Christmas.

Hi Brian, Yes, we are at Grayton Beach SP until Friday 12/19. Then we head to Suwannee SP for the weekend and finally on to Jekyll Island in Georgia for Christmas and News Year's. Then we go way further south to Venice in search of some warmth!

We are very impressed with this part of Florida and will be back. I imagine that things are a bit more hectic during the peak season. I suspect that May and October are perfect months weather-wise.

Hope to be down that way in Feb/15. I made reservations for 10 days a topsail Hill, then on to St Augustine / Melbourne / Savannah /Charleston.

We sort of alternate between Florida and Arizona each winter.

I think those AS snack bars are pretty much a permanent fixture, they were there at
Seaside last time we were at Topsail Hill a few years ago.

Grayton Beach is a great park. We live about three miles from there and kayak there often on Western Lake. You are only about six miles from Topsail, where the Can Opener Rally is held. Check it out if you get a chance. It's a really great park also. We're sorry that we missed you, but maybe you'll come back.

Central Time Florida is a great part of the state. The high season is the summer and it does get really busy then. The very best time to be here is October. It cools off, the tourists are gone, and the ocean water is still warm.

We were just there in November. The BBQ pork was fabulous! Love the beaches in that area (we stayed at Camp Gulf in Destin)....they're the most beautiful beaches I've ever seen ...and I've seen alot! :-)

You are correct. The beach is pretty spectacular and so are the sunsets.

Hey, we were just done the beach from you. We stayed at Destin RV Resort all of November. Already book there for all of November 2015. If your there next Nov, look us up.
