Priest Lake

Hi...just camped near there at a wonderful campground, Outlet Bay at Priest Lake. Not far from Sandpoint and beautiful. A must go kinda place when crowds are gone. More here....https://maxwellsamerica.wordpress.co...ance-in-idaho/

Happy travels

If you want something on the woodsy side, Round Lake State Park about 10 miles south of Sandpoint off HY 95 is a nice little place. If you want to be right in town with the restaurants and shops, the Edgewater/Best Western has a small campground at the beach park, although the trains might keep you awake all night. Further out, Priest Lake State Park is just beautiful but not so close to town. There are standard RV parks in the area, but we haven't stayed in any of them.

Farragut state park. An ex-marine base... we stayed there (in a SOB trailer) for a night on the way to Oregon last summer.
