San Francisco RV park

I can't search previous threads very well on this iPhone and can't find the answer to my question.

I know it's been addressed. I am trying to find out the name of the RV park in San Francisco from which one can see the GG bridge.

We'll be there next week and I'd like to see if it has availability.

Perhaps you mean this one: Rob Hill Campground - Presidio of San Francisco .

Kirby Cove sounds like it might be the one you're looking for, but it doesn't look like there are any available sites. Best of luck.

Kirby Creek has only four campsites and they are all "tent only" with 15 foot max vehicle length. Rob Hill might be a better bet. Try looking at google maps and search for RV parks.

Looks like it is geared towards group camping..

from the site:

Two campsites are available to the public, each holding a maximum of 30 people

Just an update on this. We never found the campground in SF that we'd seen in photos. Maybe someone was just parked at one of the pullouts up above the bridge on the mountains.

But we loved SF so much! Spent lots of time in their great Golden Gate Park, etc.

We found the fairgrounds at Santa Rosa to be a good deal for California- and just drove in to SF.
