Sad end to Memorial weekend

Something really sad to see even to SOB. 14 fwy after Palmdale coming back from Mammoth Lakes. I think the occupants are ok because he was sifting through the rubble picking what seemed to be salvageable wreckage.

You could see the guy in blue shirt and jean and he seems fine. But I didn't see the rest of the 'family' assuming it was a vacation. Certainly feel for him. Hope everyone gets home safe this weekend

It's a shame; looks like a broken box of matches; SOBs just don't hold together like an Airstream.

I wonder if it was wind? We came up through the high desert today on the way to Palm Springs, and it was blowing pretty good up around Victorville.

It was definitely windy through Mohave and palmdale but not up in the pass...it was the downgrade portion of the 14 so maybe he lost the trailer brakes but who knows.

My Dad always told me that if you can't afford the loss, get full coverage insurance, you know, collision, comprehensive.

My insurance covers damage caused by trailers towed by my insured Tows, but not damage to the trailers.

I bought full coverage for my 78 Sovereign -- the premium is right at $80 a year. cheap price for piece of mind. Ditto for pontoon boat.

I wonder what it cost them to clean that up? That "cost" now paid by owner. Need to reconsider coverages for liability?????
