RV ParkNear Sanibel for 1/27- 2/6

Wondering if anyone knows of a possible last minute opening for an RV park near Sanibel area for this Friday Jan. 26- Mon. Feb. 6. We are in Grayton Beach now and due in St. Augustine on Feb. 6 and wanted to try something in between or a bit further south.

I've always wanted to stay at Perwinkle RV Park on Sanibel but haven't had a chance yet. Note that no pets are allowed.

Turtle Beach is a nice County Campground in Sarasota but hard to get into.

You may also want to look at Ft Desoto Campground near St Pete. It has hold back sites released each Friday. A Pinelles County Park.
Turkey Lake is an Orlando City park that may have some last minute availability.

Possible accomodations

There is Woodlands RV Park in Estero just off of I-75. It's a nice facility. Don't know if they have openings now but it's worth a shot.

We scouted Periwinkle recently on Sanibel and thought it was very nice.

We stay at Periwinkle park for 4 months in the winter. They are usually booked up this time of year but I would call and see if maybe they had a cancellation. If not try Gulf waters Rv resort very nice
