RV parking in/near Winnipeg in March?

Currently, we are on the road in our A/S motor home. We are going to be visiting our grand kids in Winnipeg before the end of March and can't park at their mom's place (apt complex).

It seems that none of the online published RV parks in the area are open for business until mid May. The local Elks don't seem to have RV parking either.
Walmart doesn't seem to allow RV overnight stays in Winnipeg according to one RV forum.

We are looking for any suggestions where we can park our motor home for several days near the southwest corner of Winnipeg/Headingsley area. Any City parks in a local small town close by?
We're fully self contained and have no issues with boondocking or cold weather.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

There's a Flying J out in Headingly, but I'm not sure about their policy. I did see a SOB there with the slides out last summer. And btw, the weather is crazy fabulous in Winnipeg this spring, forecast today 21C (70F)!!
