rv park smokies/weares valley

found a nice and cheap rv park between townsen and peigon forge in weares valley on us 321. cost was $17 per night with water elec and sewer. wonderland rv park on lyons spring road just outside the smokies . six miles to townsen and about the same to pegion forge/dolly wod, other parks in the area are about $10 more per night. lol

Sounds like a great deal, was it a nice place? I'd love to take the kids to the Smokies and have been looking to find an off the beaten path campground somewhere in the mountains. Does Wonderland RV Park have a website?

Thanks for the info. I will need one the 3rd week of Oct. We are going to the SE region rally in Chattanooga, then to the beach for a week or so and then plan to set in the Smokies for a couple weeks. Did they have an internet address? I have had someone else mention a campground in approx. the same location.

Crissy and I are heading that way tonight. We are hoing to stop in Top of Georgia CG and then on the Pigeon forge. I sure could use some info on theis wonderlands Rv park.

Was it full service?
what were the sites like?
Did it have a heated pool?

yes they have a site i will find the info it is in the toad and that is the wifes car . she is at work. we are going to the 6 region rally in chattanoga also will see you there. the park doesnt have a pool. but you can drive a couple of miles and jump into the river. ithe river is not heated if any thing it has ice cubes in it. it is located in a flat valley on the edge of the smokies. my description would be nice and quiet. lol
