route recommendations Ohio to Atlanta

we will be leaving Lima Ohio heading to north of Atlanta after a short stop at Jackson Center. Any alternative routes to I 75 on any of that stretch?

75 is really the direct and easiest way.

A good rest stop/lunch break is the Artisan center south of Lexington. Lunch and interesting craft shopping. I live on I75 in Knoxville and use it to go to both Jackson Center and Atlanta. The parts of Tennessee, Kentucky, and Georgia that I75 goes through are very tough to find decent alternatives. Thank goodness for I75.

X2 on the Kentucky artists center. It I'd a nice place to rest and do some leg stretching. I have met 2 other Airstreamers over the past few years.

I-75 is your only reasonably-direct route if you're in a hurry. There are US highways that you can take instead, but they're often only two lanes and have plenty of traffic lights, and in a few places some steeper grades and tighter turns than I'd like to be trying towing something. (Caveat: I've only towed my Airstream about 600 miles, getting it home after purchasing it. A more experienced person might have a different perspective.)

I think you can take the east branch of Dixie Highway from Dayton down to Chattanooga. Dixie has been changed throughout the years but a little research might net a pretty interesting ride.

And I believe US 41 goes between Atlanta and Chattanooga. This used to be the main route to Florida from the Midwest.

You should take I-275 around Cincinnati but coming back at night is very impressive(all the lights) out of Ky. And depending on time of day bypass Knoxville too business hours . the rest as above stay on 75 unless y'all have all the time in the world to get here. Georgia is great for camping !!! We previously lived in the Dayton Ohio area now were just Dammed Yankees! Good streamin to ya

We were in Cinci recently. I pulled right up the middle, usual constriction but not bad towing.
Cincinnati gets a bad rap.
Dayton, that's a different mess!
