Rockies

We live in S W Indiana and are wanting to tour the Canadian Rockies this summer. Can we make the trip and do them justice in two weeks?
We are not retired but might be able to squeeze out a few more days.
What are some of the don't miss spots to see?
Where is the best place to start from?
Thanks in advance for any information.

I'd head for the Canadian side of Glacier NP (which maybe you can do the US side another time) - Waterton Lakes. Beautiful scenery, be sure to visit the Prince of Wales Hotel; take tea, if the missus likes that sort of thing.

From there, head up to Banff: the town itself, next Lake Louise and then the Icefields Parkway up to Jasper.

Can't go wrong. Beautiful country.

Get your passports in order, papers for your pets, eat your steaks before you try to bring them back to the US. Too bad the Loonie is on par with the dollar. Oh, well.

Pat

Touring Canadian Rockies in two weeks

Pat we toured Canadian Rockies in two weeks by flying from Tennessee to Calgary and renting a Ford Explorer to tour Banff, Yoho, Kootenay, Glacier, Mt. Revelstoke and Jasper National Parks. It took a few months of research on the internet to plan agenda and make reservations.

We drove over 2000 miles during two week period to enjoy the most memorable vacation we have ever taken. The mountain and lake scenery is spectacular that we enjoyed even more than a previous trip to Alaska.

Hope you have a wonderful trip!
