Bob, my weak memory tells me your birthday is coming right up too—happy birthday! And Lewster's is tomorrow. Happy birthday Lew.

Gene, did you know?

A celestial connection to Air Forums???

I knew it was beyond my control....

Libra,

"Your sign's paired element is air and in fact, you are the only zodiac sign with a cardinal connection to the element. Air's influence makes you active, which becomes obvious when you discover a new interest. As if pushed by a strong wind, you will work tirelessly to pursue intellectual and social pursuits. Embracing these initiating qualities of air will play a pivotal role in future successes, but avoid the aloofness that accompanies stagnant air."

Happy B-day Lew, 8th here too...

Bob

Bob, I knew about your birthday because you told me a couple of years ago. I was "work[ing] tirelessly to pursue intellectual and social pursuits" at the time.

We Libras also want justice and fairness and are fortunate to have chosen to be born now. Hooray for us!

Thanks for remembering guys! And the same back at ya!

I'm still in OR where it has been rainy and cold (what a surprise !!!) but will be headed out on Thursday. Have a big install for an Airstream in restoration in Santa Fe which should take about 4 days.

Hope to get to Gene's either before or after and then boogie back to FL for a couple of folks waiting for their solar stuff.

Then.........BRING ON THE SNOWBIRDS!!!!!!

Lewster, any chance of you blowin' through Durango, CO on your journeys? I have an Dometic AC/Heater that doesn't heat, and would like to talk about some possible solar options. PM me if you can swing it. Got full hookups here. Bill

I can vouch for the FJ Summit. Great event, great scenery and great people. We've gone for 3 years now and took the airstream with us last year. If you want a campground, the 4J is the way to go, but book it ASAP. The event is always held at the end of July.

Tallen, thanks for the info. Can't make firm plans until we sell the Crawford house and can't tow the 25' trailer with an FJ (I'd have to consider the $4,000 supercharger and beefing up the suspension—not in our plans—big bucks). It does sound like fun. We're not far from Ouray, but everything is up in the air until we have one house, not two.

Been catching-up with this thread over my morning coffee.

Bob and Gene, you've been busy!

And Happy Birthday to both of you too. Those big balloons must have come out just for you.
(So, how big is the cake and candles?)

"setenta uns velas"—is that Portuguese for 70 something? Fits for me and the somethings keep coming. I used to be able read Portuguese, but like everything else, it has slipped away.

Barb made a cake for me and friend Steve since we share a birthday. It didn't last long. If we put 70 something candles on it, it would burn the house down, and more importantly, melt the cake. I got some chocolate chip birthday cookies for my actual birthday, but their long gone too.

We've gotten energized by being on the road, sort of. 50 or 60 miles one day, 10 or 12 the next, isn't exactly being on the road. After our night in the open spaces of the desert (with fond memories of the huevos rancheros the day before—something decadent about eating [second] breakfast too), a quick trip into Santa Fe and Trailer Ranch where we are packed in. But we like this CG and always stop here in SF.

We love movies. I even read all the movie reviews in the NY Times. So SF is a chance to catch up on better movies that never make it to Grand Junction, or we are too busy to see. We identified 5 movies we want to see in 3 days—I don't think we'll make it. But yesterday was a mini-marathon. We did "In a World" for the matinee—a fairly funny romantic comedy about the strange world of voice overs, raced to a Chinese restaurant (doesn't everyone come to SF for Chinese food?), and then saw "Gravity". Thin story line, but excellent effects and cinematography. It kept us on edge for the full 90 minutes and since I don't care for heights and the effects of spinning in space would make me very dizzy, I was exhausted by the end of the movie. It would be something to see in iMax, 3D was pretty amazing. A trip to space is now off my bucket list.

Off to Zia for huevos rancheros this morning. Barb still makes the best huevos rancheros, biut we keep sampling when we can.

Thanks for the heads up about "In a World." The art of the movie trailer is often more interesting than the entity.
