Maggie, those were Bob's photos. I like the reflection of the balloons in the window the best.

I don't only forget names right away and try to keep repeating them to myself over and over so I remember them, but, alas, it feels hopeless. My personal RAM disc is corrupted. I had an insurance agent once whose solution was to call everyone "Chief". I kept thinking my name was right on the file, but he was such a nice guy I let it pass. Barb keeps telling me I have grey hair, but I don't believe her. but there's a guy with grey hair who has been following me for years. I keep seeing him in the mirror, but he won't talk to me.

Suposed to be near record temps for the date today in Pueblo—92˚. Then, 76˚ tomorrow as we travel to Alb. Supposed to be 80˚ with lows in low 50's for the Fiesta.

We are trying to get up earlier so we get used to it for the Fiesta where things start at 5 am. One of the best things about retirement is not having to get up early. I know dawn is a beautiful, quiet time of day and seeing it a few times a decade is wonderful. The air is crisp, the light is special, a few birds are beginning to sing and it is a time to rejoice in being alive. I will get in 4 of those times and be finished for this decade.

Today we celebrate my father-in-law's birthday—he was 86 a few days ago—and mine in several days.

Hi, can't wait to see the pictures of the Aliens, Air-craft, multiple heads, and crater hole, sounds like you could open up a "side show" for extra income.
We've had similar problems with Moan, in regards to o-rings and cartridges.
As for remembering names and gray haired people, then you might not have trouble remembering me, I'll be the one w/o any hair!

Terry.

We'll be leaving early for Alb. and hope to get there around 4 pm.

I just got word my 80-year-old cousin had very successful cancer surgery today (tumors gone or easily removed). He's the only family member I still have contact with, so I am very happy tonight.

We arrived at Enchanted Trails around 2:30, set up, and sat down to eat lunch when someone knocked at the door—it was lewster, so we sat around and told stories for about 1 1/2 hours. Many Airstreams were already here and more kept arriving. The park has some older trailers they rent out and some old cars. I went for a walk and saw Lynn Eubank and his wife, Maria Beck. They had just arrived from Angel Fire. They are the only people I was counting on recognizing.

A cold front came to Pueblo this morning and the north wind pushed us south most of the way increasing our gas mileage between 1 and 2 mpg. The trailer handled well despite 40-50 mph gusts and we didn't get any crosswind until we got near Santa Fe where the road turns west for a while. It was 90˚ in Albuquerque when we got here, but it is down to 73˚ now.

Here are some photos:

1. One more photo from our trip a few weeks ago—a peak in the Sawtooths.

2. A Hudson with a canned ham named Va-Ka-Shun-Ette. The trailer has a new skin, the Hudson needs to be polished.

3. Silverstreak.

4. 13 panel Airstream.

More,

5. An older Hudson, maybe late '30's.

6. Spartanette Yellowstone.

I doubt there will be wifi at the Balloon Fiesta, so this will probably be it for 4 or 5 days.

Can I be the overlord of Utah? There are several things that need changing here, and I'm just the man to do it.

I was planning on splitting it between Nevada and Colorado. Would you be interested in Nebraska?

I don't know, where is it? The voices in my head tell me its one of those flat states.

BTW, I know the voices aren't real, but they are right sometimes.

We arrived at Enchanted Trauls CG west of Albuquerque Thursday afternoon after being blown south from Colordo by a strong north tailwind. It increased our gas mileage by 1 1/2 mpg.

Already there were some Airstreams and more kept comiong in., Not long after we arrived, Lewster knocked at the door and we caught up. Lew is now a newlywed and was perhaps looking forward to a very significant birthday on the 8th. I wonít reveal his age.

ET has a number of older aluminum trailers they rent out to people. An Airstream, Streamline and Spartanette were among them and 2 trailers were hitched to old Hudsons.

Next morning we drove next door to Camping World where at 8 am, an hour early, there were at least a score Airstreams already in line. Eventually, we caravanned in small groups to the Balloon Fiesta and were efficiently parked. The site is close to the field and on many balloons float over the trailers each morning. The real action is on the field.

Photos:

1. A canned ham with a Hudson from around 1950.

2. Streamline.

3. 13 panel well polished Airstream.

4. Older Hudson with a trailer for very short people.

More:

1. Spartanette.

2. A 1965 Chevy Carryall showed up at Camping World. I think the trailer was also a 1965. A couple of years later the Carryall was renamed a Suburban.

3. A field of Airstreams at the very large Camping World parking lot.

4. Ken J addressing us at the Fiesta VIP RV area.
