Ridgeland Miss camping recommendations?

There is a triathlon June 3 in Ridgeland, MS along Natchez Trace Pkwy and I would like to take my 2006 26' Safari down for the event. Any recommendations for nice camping around the area?

Try looking at Barnett Reservoir. They have several campgrounds. We've only been to Ridgeland on business (fly in, fly out), but we've passed the reservoir a couple times and it looks like a great spot.

Check out Le Fleurs Bluff State Park. It is a good sized state park, complete with golf course, river and lake, and is located right in the middle of Jackson, exit 98B from Interstate 55. Sites have water and electric, basic showers and a dump site are available.
