Refrigerator Door Ideas

Does anyone have a nice looking idea for keeping the refrigerator doors closed while heading down the road? It seems like every trip we find escapees from the frig on the floor.

I think there must be something wrong with the original refrigerator latch/lock you have and it is not latching properly. It should be still under warrantee from AS if it is a 2012. Either look at it carefully and adjust it yourself, or have AS do it for you. It should not open while traveling if set up properly.

Ours doesn't open, it's a pretty good seal. But if it did I'd use a Velcro, flat nylon strap across the front, secured to the back of the fridge. On arrival I'd remove and tuck it along the sides, out of site.

Maybe you're not closing it all the way. There should be an audible 'click' on the latch when it's completely closed. Ours can be nearly closed and seem to be latched, but when we push on the latch at the top there is a 'click' indicating it's sealed. Like I said, we've never had ours pop open although there is food against the door. On the last trip, 3 eggs tried to make their escape but only made it as far as the floor.
