We went touring State Park Campgrounds along the Gulf.
Looking for future destinations for vacations.
Started at St. George down past Apalachicola, Florida...
And headed west almost to Mobile.
I know we missed some over in Mississippi, were concentrating on the Florida Panhandle for its snow white beach offerings.
I really like to camp close to water for watersports and Sunsets.

Heres a map of the ones we hit and will post photos in groups.

This is what most new houses are looking like along the coast...
Almost gone are the concrete block summer camps that I remember.

Now this was a long drive to get out here.
We voted this one 2nd place out of all in list above.
They have 'beach' sites and 'wooded' sites.
Electric and water.
Gulf is a few steps away, and bay is great for snorkeling.
We liked the variety.
Great bike riding too, in and out of park.

We just gotta stop trying to find something better...give in and admit that we have the best right here.
Everything in one place that we enjoy and look for in a beach trip.

Talk about convenient!
All the retail is just outside of park.
While your driving to campground inside park, you can see traffic lights just on other side of bushes.

Someone always holding up the line...
