Red Ants Pants

Anyone else heading to the Red Ants Pants music festival this weekend in White Sulpher Springs Montana? Keb Mo, Ryan Bingham, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band and many others will be performing. They had about 11,000 in attendance last year, expect more this year. Great weather is in the forecast.

This will be the first time I take our Airstream to an event like this. Any tips appreciated.

My only "tip" is, I'm jealous and wish we could go. Have fun.

I dunno what this festival will be like...

But on the East Coast there are many music festivals to choose from every weekend of the camping season. Here are a few tips

#1 For many, it's more about the party, than it is about the music. So….sleep can be an issue. Blind folds can help you get a few more hours sleep in the morning.

#2 Be prepared to put your boon docking skills to the test, and all that that entails

#3 Be prepared for unlevel camping spot

I forgot about the earplugs and extra blocks for leveling. Thanks for the suggestions.

Music to your ears ( pun intended )

We got used to falling asleep to the sound of music and people having fun

In the off season, we joked about recording the sounds of a festival, so we could play it back when we wanted to be lulled into slumber.

What do they say? Beauty is in the ears of the beerholder. ( or something like that)

Nothing muffles an enthusiastic bass player on a stand-up bass.
