Rear separation

I have read a lot about rear separation or sag. My question is if I do not have any sag or rear separation at this time do I need to take precautionary measures to avoid this in the future?

Eastern South Dakota is very pretty with hills, rivers, and trees.

I think there's a few ways the water gets in: seams, rear windows, plumbing leaks, and at the bottom seam. If you've got no floor softness, keeping that list well sealed, and checking regularly for leaks should be enough to prevent it, or at least detect the primary cause before the situation goes too far.

Ok. Here's a dumb question. How do you know if you have rear separation?

MIRROR Sorry, couldn't control myself. I'm just an old smart ***.

The shorter Airstreams are less likely. Get a linebacker to jump up and down on the bumper. The bumper should not move more than a teeny bit without the body of the coach following suit.

Funny. I guess we all can relate to our aged trailers (rear separation, plumbing problems, etc) ha ha

Seriously, my 1970 has a rear bath, and I've also read a lot of threads about the sag issue, but wasn't sure about the symptoms.

Use the search engine. If you use the google search you will get all kinds of good information and pictures.
