Question: First 5-night trip in Airstream...woohoo!

Picking up the Airstream tomorrow - having some work done before we officially are on the road.

We are getting ready to head out this Thursday for Alabama. We will stay there 4 nights, attend the NASCAR race on Sunday in Talladega, and head back home Monday with one night remaining.

Looking to possibly stay at TCPC in Crossville, TN on Monday night. Has anyone been there, heard about it, or suggest other campgrounds in the Nashville to Knoxville area?

Thanks in advance.

I hear from a good friend that the Two Rivers campground in Nashville is very nice. It is located about two miles from Opryland. Also close to downtown Nashville and all the entertainment on Broadway.

Sit back relax and enjoy your maiden voyage!

Remember its not the destination, but rather the journey.... its what's in the middle that matters the most!

We just travelled from Memphis to Jonesborough this past weekend -- but we just overnighted at the Cracker Barrel there just outside of Nashville (Dickson, to be more precise)!

Good luck in your adventure.

Edgar Evins state Park is really cool. They have large decks on the hillside that you park the trailer on. Check for nails before you back up. Very different from the average campground.

We stayed overnight at Two Rivers in March and it was fine for that purpose. I'd be more inclined to suggest Montgomery Bell State park a bit west of Nashville for a longer stay.
